A Letter from the President I hope this email finds you well and safe. We have two great events coming up. Tomorrow is the Annual Chicago Lupus Walk! We have three special guests this year and we hope you'll join us and meet them. Dr. Robert Katz, LSI's Board Chair and LSI's Medical Advisory Board Chair will be there. We also have Dion Langley, drummer and lupus advocate will share a bit of his story and will raise his voice with us. And Lupus Walk Ambassador Viktoria Baldo will be there - sharing her story. We also have the team t-shirt contest, an amazing raffle, thoughtful sponsors and YOU - the lupus community who come together every year! We also have our Annual Rush Lupus Clinic & LSI Educational Event coming up on December 2, 2023. You can register here. This year, we have four presentations and the Rush Lupus Clinic Q & A. LSI is able to achieve its mission thanks to the success of the Illinois Lupus Walks. We hope to see you on September 30th! We are still looking for your memories! As we celebrate our 50th Anniversary, we want to hear from you! Take a moment to share your recollections with us online here or post it on social media using #LSI50! In 50 years, we've come so far. Together, we've made a difference. Mary |
