A Letter from the President I hope this email finds you well! As summer heats up, so does the Western Suburbs Lupus Walk! This year's event is August 9th in Naperville and you definitely don't want to miss it! We have some tremendous sponsors, teams and participants! Our committee is working hard on getting amazing raffle gifts, DJ Rick is getting his music list ready and we are all prepared to have the best walk ever! Registration is open. Remember, walking is a great way to educate your community about lupus and raise awareness for the LSI. Funds from the walk go directly towards providing services at no cost to those in need, including educational events, like the recent To Live with Lupus We Need to Know About Lupus webinar. This event included information on lupus origins, as well as the latest drugs. You can watch the entire event here. LSI is also happy to announce we'll be partnering with Governors State University this fall on their Jaguar Run! LSI runners get a special $10 discount.
