A Letter from the President I hope this email finds you well! The year is almost over! As we look back there is so much to be grateful for - especially for the lupus community. 2021 saw two new lupus drugs approved by the FDA. This is wonderful news! for more information on the state of lupus treatments, read Dr. Ailda Nika's article here. LSI was also able to bring you eleven educational webinars - with topics as varied as "Understanding Lupus & the COVID-19 Vaccine", "Bringing Lupus Nephritis Our of the Shadows" and "Caring for Someone with Lupus". Donations make these educational events possible. We are honored by the trust our donors show in us. We work hard every day to provide the best programs and services to YOU. Donors make that possible. If you haven't yet, please donate to the LSI this holiday season. |
| | Be sure to save the date for our next educational event - the Empowering Lupus Patients Educational Event on Febraury 12, 2022.
