Call your doctor:  If you think you have been exposed to COVID-19 and develop a fever and symptoms, such as cough or difficulty breathing, call your healthcare provider for medical advice.

Dear Friend,

The health and well being of the lupus community is of primary importance to us.  Because of COVID-19 and our commitment to serving you, the LSI is cancelling or postponing in-person activities through April, 2020.

This includes support groups, health fairs, the LSI Associate Board's Dinner Dance and the May 2, 2020 Southern Suburbs Illinois Lupus Walk.

The LSI Associate Board Dinner Dance has been moved to June 5, 2020.

We are thinking outside of the box in how to provide you the support you need during this challenging time.  We will be communicating with Support Group Leaders and other stakeholders to find solutions.  We invite you to forward suggestions you may have as well to info@lupusil.org.

It's important for you to know that like many offices, the LSI team is working from home.  We are available by phone or email - our contact information is:

Mary Dollear, mary@lupusil.org, (312) 648-6053
Charles Brummell, charles@lupusil.org, (312) 542-0007
Taurean Jackson, taurean@lupusil.org, (312) 542-0004

We will continue to update you on opportunities.  Please contact us with your questions and concerns.  We are here to give you the most up to date information.

Together we'll get through this.  Together we make a difference.

Mary Dollear, President, Lupus Society of Illinois
